Background

Cool F/X has been searching for an optics company to carry for several years. We looked at Nightforce (very expensive), Vortex (expensive), and Leopold (not super cachet). But then, one of our customers recommended Arken. When we received our first scope for one of our precision rifles, we were blown away. First, by the price; and second, by the incredible quality for the money. DNT Optics comes from Arken Optics' successes.

The ThermNight TNC225R scope is the newest day & night scope introduced under the DNT Optics brand.

DNT Optics, officially known as Day & Night Technologies, was formed from the prior successes of the Arken ZULUS line of scopes with new ownership, management, and development team. The transition aims to reflect their commitment to providing innovative products and exceptional customer service for day, night, and thermal optics. The company continues to supply the complete product range previously offered under Arken Optics, including the well-received ZULUS series which will now be marketed under the DNT Optics brand.

Arken Optics retains proprietary rights to both the DNT and Arken brands. The manufacturing process remains consistent, with products being made in the same factory that produced Arken ZULUS products. This rebranding includes new features and improvements, such as a redesigned side cap and updated firmware for enhanced ballistic calculations and image quality improvements.

Description

Featuring state-of-the-art thermal sensors for detecting targets and advanced high-definition digial night vision for identifying them, the TNC225R excels in delivering superior operational effectiveness in various environment and conditions.

Thermal imaging offers superior nighttime detection ranges, enhanced by digital night vision to precisely identify targets with accuracy and reliability.

ThermNight TNC225R comes with a highly sensitive 12µm pixel detector and an advanced algorithm enhanced 256 x 192 resolution combined with NETD≤25mk. This allows you to detect heat signatures at further distances and positive ID your target with digital NV before engaging.

Night vision and thermal design ensures a safe and memorable hunting experience. The picture-in-picture (PIP) feature integrates thermal detection and night vision identification into a single image, enabling confident engagement of intended targets with the multispectral ThermNight TNC225R.

With a simple press of the mode button, the TNC225R allows for quick toggling between thermal and night vision, even when using picture-in-picture. Making it a versatile solution for any task.

Day or night, see it all. Equipped with the state-of-the-art SONY STARVIS 2 sensor, celebrated for its exceptional sensitivity in low-light conditions and remarkable image clarity, the Thermnight TNC225R delivers unmatched capabilities for detection and identification.

Experience the thrill of the hunt with a compact and lightweight design. With a deliberate emphasis on compact design and lightweight construction, the ThermNight TNC225R is engineered to thrive in all environments, measuring just 7 inches long and weighing a mere 22.8 oz.

The IP67 waterproof rating and a recoil rating up to .50 BMG ensures flawless operation in extreme conditions, making your hunting easy and reliable.

Dual Aiming system calibrated in one. The ThermNight TNC225R's "one shot zeroing" function is available in both thermal imaging and day/night vision channel. With only one shot using the day/night vision, you can easily switch to the thermal and adjust the reticle to be zeroed to the same point of impact (POI) as your day/night vision, saving you time so you can focus on your hunt.

Multispectral mode display for better detection and indentification. With a focus on enhancing detection and identification processes, the ThermNight TNC225R offers unparalleled convenience: toggle effortlessly between display modes (day/night vision, thermal, or a hybrid) via picture-in-picture (PIP) at the touch of a button. Accelerate target recognition capabilities with the advanced multispectral ThermNight TNC225R.

Cuttin-edge laser rangefinder and DNT application. Equipped with a sophisticated built-in laser rangefinder, the device excels in accuracy, delivering precise distance measurements ranging from 5 to 1100 yards. Once the distrance is determined and seamlessly uploaded to the integrated DNT application, the advanced ballistic calculator swiftly cmoputes a ballistic solution which is then represented in either dial-in or holdover corrections, ensuring every shot hits its mark with unparalleled accuracy.

The preloaded bullet database also facilitates faster and easier ballistic profile configuration. The removable IR illuminator allows you to switch between 850nm or 940nm (the 940nm IR illuminator can be purchased separately).
